We meet dolphins, sea lions, dogs, cats, parrots, goats, horses, elephants and other animals who have saved the life of a human. Dave also shares the story of the most decorated dog in the Army. This week we look into my favorite animal on the planet... the jaguar. We have loads of cool and interesting facts about these elusive big cats. Jaguars are the third largest cat and have one of the most powerful bites of the animal kingdom. They are a true apex predator with no natural enemies resting on the tippy top of the food chain. Jaguars have even been spotted living in the U.S. near Tucson. Learn all about these wonderful animals here and as always a few attack stories.

This week we look back at our man Jim Corbett and his hunt for the Champawat Tigeress. This tiger has more kills than any other individual animal in recorded history, with 436. We follow the story of how Jim hunted this animal, through his own words from his book, "Man-Eaters of Kumaon." This notorious man-eater was Jim's first of many hunts for man eating tigers and leopards throughout India. This story is full of twists and turns so be sure to check it out.

This week we look into the fascinating life of Jim Corbett. You want adventure and excitement look no further than to this man. He was a tracker, hunter, teacher, author, naturalist, environmentalist and all around bad-ass. We look into his early life and his fondness for animals and the jungles that he lived in. We also look into several of the man-eaters that he hunted. Including a tiger that has killed more people than any other individual animal in recorded history (Which will be next weeks episode). Then we look into his accomplishments after hunting which are probably more important. He even was responsible for India's first National Park, which was re-named Jim Corbett National Park after his death. He was a big time conversationalist and has helped with keep the tiger alive, still today. Jim and his stories are a big part of why this podcast was made. Make sure to check this out!

On our bonus episode we go over the very recent story of a man-eating tiger in India. A tiger has just recently been killed and linked to the deaths of 13 villagers. Originally planned on being captured, a series of events lead to her needing to be shot in "self-defense." Also an unlikely cologne fragrance becomes part of the hunt. This story comes at the perfect time as later this week we will share the story of Jim Corbett... hunter of man-eaters.
