This week we look into the famous story of the WWII ship known as the USS Indianapolis. This ship delivered parts of the atomic bomb and shortly after was sunk by a Japanese submarine. This is a tale of survival as the survivors fight off dehydration, exhaustion and even sharks as they are lost at sea for 4 days. Many sharks came and fed on the dead and killing some themselves. This is known as the worst shark attack in history. We also talk about statistics from the 2018 shark attack report.

This week we take a look at a fearsome predator known as the bull shark. We go over all about them, from their size to their diet to their attack stats. Probably the coolest and scariest thing about them is that the can live in both saltwater and freshwater. There are found in coastal areas all over the world as well as river systems and even lakes. Then we tell the story that began the fear and hysteria over sharks that still goes on today. This story was the inspiration of Jaws. It is the 1916 Jersey Shore Shark Attacks. 12 days of panic as there were five victims with four of them dying.

This week we have another story from our man, Jim Corbett. This story follows Jim's year long hunt for the man-eating Tigress. This man-eater is responsible for 64 recorded deaths, likely more. We follow the story of how Jim hunted this killer, through his own words from his book "The Man-Eaters of Kumaon." This notorious man-eater killed for 5 years until Jim finally managed to shoot the tiger on April 11, 1930. This story is full of twists and turns and things you wouldn't expect

This week we end our series about the cold blooded reptiles. We share a tragic story of adventuring kayakers in Africa. Three good friends go on an adventure of a life time only for one to end at the bottom of the river, or a crocodiles stomach. This week we continue our series on crocs and gators by doing a solo episode about dem gators. We learn all about alligators and where to find them, some differences between crocs and gators and many other things. While not as big as some crocs, gators are still apex predators of the swamp. A little more docile than crocodiles, but still very dangerous. We also dive into some folklore with a tale of a legendary gator called "Two-Toed Tom" who terrorized a poor farmer. And also a Native American folklore story about The Alligator and the Hunter.
