This week just in time for Halloween we look at some creepy crawlers with eight legs. This may be squeamish for people with arachnophobia. Actually arachnophobia affects 5% of the entire world. We learn all about spiders and including different species, their webs and silk, and many other interesting facts. Then we look into some of the more dangerous spiders around the world. Overall though we learn that spiders really aren't as dangerous as you probably expected.

This week we have another episode all about hunting accidents. It is now hunting season for most and to celebrate we go over some stories about what not to do. Sometimes though accidents happen out of nowhere. Someone might get shot by another person, or someone may think a person looks like a deer and shoots them, someone may be shot by their own dog, or someone may be impaled by elk antlers. All of those things happen this episode and much much more. Remember to stay safe out there hunters.

This week we look into the American black bear. A lot of interesting things about them, and they actually don't even have to be black. Some black bears are brown, blonde or even white. We learn about bear hibernation and some bear safety tips. Black bears are more predatory than brown bears and have been known to stalk and eat humans. That is why if ever attacked by a black bear you must fight back, if you don't it might eat you. And bears are known to eat while there prey is still alive. Be sure to go watch the movie Backcountry to see a realistic and frightening attack.

This week we look into the slithery serpents known as rattlesnakes. Rattlesnakes are very cool iconic animals of the old west. They live all over the Americas but are most known to live in the Southwest United States and Mexico. But the largest of them, the eastern diamondback, lives in the south. They can be as far north as Canada or as far south as Argentina. Rattlesnakes have highly developed hemotoxic venom that can kill you. We then learn about rattlesnakes in pop culture and finish on a few attack stories.

This week we look into an old pal of ours... rabies. Rabies has been an on going thing on the show since we started. Rabies is almost forgotten about here in the U.S. but in other places it is still a serious problem that kills 50,000 people a year. We do a recap on the lethal virus itself and then go into a few stories. Remember, rabies is totally curable as long as you get the vaccine before symptoms start to show... If you don't you will die, there is a 100% chance of death without getting the vaccine on time.
