Saturday Aug 03, 2019
Saturday Aug 03, 2019
This week have more about lions. We take a look into lion conservation and tell the story of Cecil the lion who was killed by a trophy hunter. Trophy hunting is a complicated issue and this story sparked lots of debate on the ethics of it. Then we share lots of information about lions in pop culture. Lions are one of the most iconic animals in the world and are deeply rooted to many cultures. Then we talk about some famous films about lions. We talk about the new Lion King movie and give our review on it. We also talk about the most dangerous film ever made, a movie called "Roar." With a movie set having 150 big cats and over 70 people getting injured we see how dangerous it was. Then we end on telling about some of the more famous man-eating lions throughout history, including a pride of lions responsible for killing over 1,500 people.
